Real Raider Nation Rants and Reads from beyond the SIlver State
A quick note on winning
A lot of fans are mad at the Raiders for winning last week. I said it before and I’ll say it again, losing does not breed winning.
Getting a high draft pick does not guarantee success. This team has messed up so many draft picks, it is hard to have blind faith. So yes, I’m happy they won last week and I want them to win again this week.
This New Orleans Saints team is down the top receiver running back and they are on their third quarterback. Anything can happen when the Raiders travel across the country.
K’Lavon Chaisson came up with a sack last week. Raiders need that pressure again. They also need Tyree Wilson to flash his first round talent.
Otherwise, the Raiders will try to control this game with their running back and intermediate passes to Jakobi Meyers and Brock Bowers. If they execute, there is no reason they can’t win. Yes, they should win.
